But taking nothing from the lads, What a superb win it was today. Fulham looked stuborn and were here for a point, We managed to break them down and get the winner we so desperately needed.

I haven't felt this good for a very long time, It's amazing what a win can do!!

Roll on Man City! k.r.o.

wasnt a great advert for pro footy, but sometimes the result is the only thing that matters ;)

would have been gutted to have lost playing like that though, coleman must be choked - i dont recall nico having to make a save from a direct shot

About time we had that luck though. Was only a few weeks ago that we were not getting shots on goal like Fulham today. I hope that win kicks every Blues player up the ***** and makes them realise we need them do win like that every week. I would gladly take a 1-0 every week.

Butt was ace today, Clemence came in and did a superb job. One of the lowest paid players and plays with more bottle than many of the high earners.

First half we played shocking as per usual this season, if tebily starts next game then Bruce truly has lost it completely.

Second half when our best players came on we looked a decent team again and fully deserved to win.

just shows how each of us sees the same things but with a completely different conclusion  i thought tebs played pretty well, not only keeping radzinski (very fast btw) in his pocket but also producing decent bursts forward! when he gets a game in HIS preferred position we will see how good this fella really is... imo of course..

Tebily although he didnt have the best of games today is still mr reliable. Bring him into the squad and he do his best.

As Brucie mentioned on radio earlier, He is one of the reasons we're in this division. Remember him @ the new den, tackling with no boots on.

Everyone of them were brilliant today.

yeah its not rocket science really is it? everybody pretty much agreed martin taylor had started to look a good player again recently, and this is because he's had a run of games - tebs hasnt recently, and i reckon he'd do a good job with a bit more experience and some faith shown in him.. ok, he's never gonna be ronaldinho, but he could be a great replacement for kc/mt/mu should they leave/retire/get injured imo.. ;)

Hey, back to basics - we've tried and failed up to now this season, so back to what we do well - pride, passion and commitment, once we're back on track then introduce the fancy stuff. We've been suckered in to trying to run in this division before we can walk.

Well done lads, the first time this season I can enjoy the whole of my weekend.

Funny isnt it but the game I saw was a fantastic one! I thought I saw 11 men working thier b.alls off, battling for every ball and never saying die! Tebs was outstanding even with his attention span .

Well done blues! you did your self proud!

By the way what the f was that booing for? Even if it was for the decision of not bringing on a striker, Clapham must have thought it was because it was him! :(

This was the first game my 10year old daughter really got into the game and went crazy when we scored! :D

Bruce picked the team to do exactly what they did, battle, scrap and show bottle. It wasn't pretty, although we created plenty of chances in the second half, but I don't recall Fulham coming anywhere near scoring. Well done lads ! **thumbup

Oh, and I too heard the booing when Clapham, not Pandiani, was brought on. I'd like to point out that it was he who crossed the ball for Emile to nod down to Butt for the goal ! Tactical brilliance from the Manager ;) **thumbup

Got to agree, Tebs only problem is he lacks concentration for the 90 minutes somethimes, but he makes no more mistakes than Upson or KC have this season, but gets slaugthered for it

Totally agree, Tebs is solid when he's switched on - pity is you never know when he's gonna flick the off switch !!! Excellent point about Kenny and Upson too, they've not been too steady at all and Upsons ball distribution is woeful so why do we keep giving it to him to hoof forward?

salad you beat me to it ,does he make any more mistakes than upson ,given a run of games those mistakes would get less but if fans get on his back every time he appears ,of course the nerves will be there, its the same with martin taylor.

Bruce was spot on with his tactics yesterday - the likes of Pennant have proved they're more effective coming on against tired defences. Spend the first 45 minutes battering the opposition into submission, then hit them with the likes of Pennant, Jarosik and co...

TBH i don't give a F.C.U.K about our football all i want is points, goals and everyone to stay fit. With Forssell finishing woth like 17 goals again.

He does lack concentration, i remeber last season when we he was at left back against Bolton i think, he kept trying to go forward and leaving his position open, everyone in the crowd had to keep shouting at him to drop back

As someone with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and i have little doubt he's got the same thing (Just watching the type of mistakes he makes). Its frustrating because you can play blinders but because you're foccusing on playing the right ball, or the right runs etc, you can temporarily muck up the basics and it gets embarassing and you're never consistent, look like a great player one game/half/minute, and like you've never played the game before another game/half/minute

I take medication for it now and have no such problems anymore, but since he's a proffesional athlete in a drug tested sport i doubt he'd be able to take the same thing.

Absolutely delighted with the win :) - woke up this morning and had to get the wife to reassure me it wasn't a dream!

It's true that pretty much the whole team worked like mad and I was proud of them througout the game .... but still I hope we don't have to watch too much more like the first half. I thought the game was transformed when Pennant came on - not so much because of what he did, but because we had another route from defence to attack and they couldn't put 3 men on Dunn any more!

Anyway, great performance overall. Sunday lunch will taste better today **thumbup

i think with posision we are in it was a good performace because they all worked for each other and i think this is we should play for the time being .

we closed them down and did'nt let them have time on the ball.

if it works do it.

well done the lads **thumbup
